Lego with strong revenue growth and profitability

Danish Lego toy company reported strong earnings growth and earnings for the first half, reported DPA. The company, which does not fully take into account their results, has increased its profits before taxes by 64.4 percent to 927 million kroner (124.5 million) annually. Revenues grew by 23 percent to 4.4 billion kronor (591.1 billion). Lego has increased its market share of almost all its markets worldwide, despite the contraction in the toy market as a whole, said CEO Jorgen Vig Knudstorp. Given the good results of the first half, the company is optimistic about the Christmas season, although they do not dare to make accurate predictions. The company has begun to increase its production capacity with new plants in Denmark, Hungary and Mexico.
